Tanna Ross

University of Maine freshman guard Tanna Ross was named the America East Women’s Basketball Rookie of the Week. Ross had 14 points, seven rebounds and three assist in her collegiate debut against Clemson.

Jovan Belcher

University of Maine junior defensive end Jovan Belcher was honored as the CAA Co-Defensive Player of the Week for football. Belcher had five tackles, including two for loss of yards, a forced fumble and a pass deflection.
