LEWISTON – An autopsy Tuesday confirmed that a body found in a shallow grave near an all-terrain vehicle trail in Lewiston was that of a pregnant mother of two who had been missing for three weeks.

The state medical examiner’s office said the body was that of 38-year-old Donna Paradis, who has been missing since Oct. 23.

The manner of death has been ruled a homicide, but the cause of death is being withheld at the request of the Attorney General’s Office. No arrests have been made.

The spot where the body was found Monday is less than a mile from Affiliated Computer Service, one of two offices where Paradis worked. Searchers were steered to the area last week and began searching with cadaver-sniffing dogs Sunday.
