Bangor resident Mark Turner, 37, attempted on Thursday evening to leave Shaw’s supermarket on Main Street with a grocery cart containing several items, including lobsters and New England Patriots memorabilia, according to police.
Sgt. Allen Hayden of the Bangor police said an intoxicated Turner was arrested and charged with theft for walking out without paying for $197 in lobsters, a $70 Patriots jacket, a $15 Patriots hat, a $17 Patriots T-shirt, a $19 Red Sox mug and an $8 bag of coffee.
