ORONO – The Friends of Maine Hockey will host their annual “Skate with the Bears” on Sunday, Dec. 9 from 2-4 p.m. at Alfond Arena.

The event, sponsored by Machias Savings Bank, is free and open to the public. Bananas the Black Bear will also make an appearance. A limited number of free skate rentals will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Refreshments will be served.
