GORHAM – Josalee Danieli, Shannon Kynoch and Becky Dixon each tallied 12 points to power the University of Southern Maine women’s basketball team past Bowdoin College 77-58 in a battle of nationally ranked Division III powers Tuesday night.

Nicole Paradis chipped in with 10 points for the unbeaten Huskies, ranked 12th in the latest D3hoops.com poll.

Alexa Kaubris paced 21st-ranked Bowdoin with 17 points while Jill Anelauskas added 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Polar Bears.

At Beverly, Mass., Bryan Wholey and Brian Ellis each scored 19 points to lead the Bates College Bobcats past Endicott College.

Wholey had six rebounds and four steals while Ellis added seven. Chris Wilson of Brewer scored 12 points and dished out three assists while Pat Halloran grabbed eight rebounds.

Samuel Evans had 13 points and 10 rebounds to pace Endicott. Bobby Montrond had 13 points and Gary Corbett had 11.
