The Bangor Daily News editorial “Religious Compromise” clearly stated Christians are too compromised by their belief in Jesus Christ to vote or hold office. I can only hope the next time reporters accompany our elected officials to Iraq or Afghanistan, they would be so kind as to inform our servicemen and women of these beliefs.

Perhaps because the BDN is all about fairness it will come out with a new editorial calling for a rejection of Christians for military service because of their feeble minds. If they can’t hold office or vote they shouldn’t be suited for military service. Surely those offended by Christianity in the public arena would be willing to step forward in the necessary draft to take their places.
