Jonathan Reyes

University of Southern Maine freshman Jonathan Reyes was named the Pilgrim Wrestling League Rookie of the Week. Reyes earned second place in the 125-pound division in the Ted Reese Invitational.

Artie Cutrone

Colby College junior point guard Artie Cutrone was honored as the NESCAC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week. Cutrone averaged 19.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.3 steals and 3.7 rebounds in a 3-0 week for Colby.

Ryan Leary

Bowdoin College freshman forward Ryan Leary was named the NESCAC Men’s Ice Hockey Player of the Week. Leary scored six goals to lead Bowdoin to a 10-5 win over Skidmore and broke the previous Bowdoin record of five goals in a game.

Julianne Kowalski

Colby College forward Julianne Kowalski was named the Maine Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Rookie of the Week. Kowalski averaged 15.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.5 blocks in two games.

Caitlyn Laflin

University of Maine at Farmington sophomore Caitlyn Laflin was honored as the Maine Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Player of the Week. Laflin averaged 16.6 points, 8.6 rebounds and 2.0 assists in a 2-1 week, including a double-double in a win over Thomas.
