Ellis leads Bates past Thomas

LEWISTON – Brian Ellis scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Bates College Bobcats to an 84-43 men’s basketball victory over the Thomas College Terriers Tuesday night.

Bryan Wholey scored 10 points for the Bobcats of Lewiston and Chris Wilson added nine points.

Thomas was led by Michael Burchill’s 11 points.
