BANGOR – Shelby Bradford scored 17 points to propel the Husson College women’s basketball team to a 76-61 victory over the UMaine-Machias Clippers Friday night at Newman Gym.
Jenny Rollins posted 12 points while Kelsy Lavertu added 10 for the Eagles.
Angela Moody paced the Clippers with 16 points. Felica Herring registered 15 points and 10 assists while Sara Wells added 13 points for UM-Machias.

At Fort Kent, Erica Davis had 19 points and 15 rebounds as the University of Maine at Presque Isle defeated the University of Maine at Fort Kent in the Bengal Holiday Classic.
Ashley Brooker added 11 points while Megan Korhonen scored 10 points with a game-high 11 assists and Anna Lenentine had 10 points and 12 rebounds for the Owls.
Arcilla Jeffers had 10 points and seven rebounds for UMFK, while Ashley Ames had eight points and five blocked shots.

At Canton, N.Y., goalie Meaghan McGuckian stopped all 23 shots she faced to lead the Saints’ shutout of the Black Bears.
Marianna Locke and Chelsea Grills scored for 12-3-0 St. Lawrence.
Freshman goaltender Sarah Bishop was busy in goal as she made a season-high 52 saves for the 1-15-2 Black Bears.
The two teams square off again today at 2 p.m.
Maine then returns to Alfond Arena on Sunday for a “Skate with the Bears” program from 2-4 p.m. Players will sign autographs and have their pictures taken with fans.

At Fort Kent Thursday, Xavier Cruz-Blain led Savannah College of Art and Design past the University of Maine-Fort Kent in the Bengal Holiday Classic.
Tim Stammen scored 16 points, Kevin Polit had 13, Eze Andrews added 12, and Romell Witherspoon had 10 for Savannah.
Jimmy Lopez led the Bengals with 24 points. Hamill Bassue scored 12 and grabbed 11 rebounds. Edmundas Akstinas and Yair Gal each scored 11.
