Old Town 5, Hampden 3

At Alfond Arena in Orono, consecutive third-period goals by Ryan Millett, Jason Smith and Ryan Daniels rallied Old Town to a Class B hockey victory over Hampden Academy.

Hampden held a 3-2 third-period lead before the Coyotes erupted offensively en route to their first win of the season.

Smith finished with two goals for 1-2 Old Town, while Daniels and Josh Hesseltine each had a goal and an assist and Millett had one goal. Joey Doucette added two assists for the Coyotes, while Nick Covell and Derek Dubay had one assist each.

Cameron Washburn made nine saves in goal for Old Town.

Cody McAllister led 0-1 Hampden with a goal and an assist. Troy Gaudet and Josh Tardif also scored for the Broncos, while Nate Baker, Cory Morin and Charles Rawcliffe each had an assist. Freshman Jacob Wood made 31 saves in goal.
