CORINNA – A woman was injured Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash on Route 7.

Kelly Gallison, 37, of Corinna was taken to Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft for treatment of minor injuries, according to Penobscot County Sheriff’s Deputy James Kennedy.

The crash happened at about 10:50 a.m. when Jeremy Matthews, 20, of St. Albans lost control of his 2004 GMC pickup truck, which rear-ended Gallison’s 1998 Subaru. Both vehicles were damaged and both operators were wearing seat belts, Kennedy said.

No charges were filed. Kennedy said Matthews was driving too fast for the road conditions.
