BRUNSWICK – The Bowdoin Polar Bears shot 69 percent from the field to knock off the University of Maine-Farmington 84-46 in men’s basketball action Friday night.
Mike Hauser had a game-high 15 points and nine assists to lead the Bears. Also scoring in double digits were Andrew Sargeantson (12), Tim Lane (12), Kyle Jackson (12) and Jordan Fliegel (10). Jackson also had four blocks.
Sean Fry led the Beavers with 11 points.

Beckwith was named tournament MVP and named to the all-tournament team with Bates teammate Meg Coffin.
Matia Kostakis had 13 points and 11 rebounds for Bates and Coffin added 12 points and eight rebounds. Danielle Schaefers scored 11 points and Sarah Barton had 10 points an tournament-record 12 assists.
