EAST MACHIAS – High school cheering teams from throughout Washington County will meet at Gardner Gymnasium on the campus of Washington Academy on Friday for the annual Downeast Athletic Conference cheering competition.
The event starts at 6 p.m., with doors opening at 4 p.m. The competition is open to the public, with tickets $5 for adults, $3 for students.
