PARIS – A former girls junior varsity basketball coach at Mountain Valley High School in Rumford has pleaded not guilty to sex charges involving two 17-year-old girls.

Donald Hebert, 33, is accused in Oxford County Superior Court of having sexual relationships with two girls, one of whom he coached. He faces three counts of gross sexual assault and four counts of unlawful sexual contact.

Hebert coached the 2006-2007 junior varsity girls basketball team. Police say the incidents occurred from February to April of last year. He was arrested on Sept. 14.
