ORONO – The Green Party’s 2004 presidential candidate, David Cobb, will make appearances Feb. 10 and 11 at the University of Maine.

Cobb and Shannon Tracey, both on the staff of Democracy Unlimited of Humboldt County, Calif., will run an all-day workshop Feb. 10 titled “Why Do Corporations Have More Rights Than You Do?”

The workshop will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in Coe Lounge at UM’s Memorial Union. Registration will be limited to 25 participants and a donation of $25 is suggested. To register, contact John Greenman at jgreenman@gwi.net or 827-7014.

On Feb. 11, Cobb will give a lecture on presidential politics, third parties and the two-party system. He will be introduced by his 2004 running mate, Pat LaMarche of Maine.
