LEE – Tim Johnson made a free throw, missed the second, and rebounded his own miss with 12 seconds left in overtime, setting up two Larry Grant foul shots that secured Lee Academy’s 90-86 postgrad basketball victory over Bridgton Academy Wednesday.
Nate Tomlinson paced the winners with 21 points and Grant finished with 19, while Dorian Williams tossed in 14 points and Marin Velalija added 11. Samer Jassar contributed 12 rebounds.
Isaac Wallace connected for a game-high 25 points to lead Bridgton Academy. Corey McFarline netted 18 points, Cervante Burrell scored 12 and Stacy Waters posted 11.
