In the face of a looming recession and $100 a barrel oil I wonder what Maine’s business community thinks of our federal government’s deficit spending to occupy Iraq? I wonder what our state government thinks in light of its projected shortfall and crumbling infrastructure?

Without a draft to add to the ranks and with our federal government’s open-ended commitment to occupying Iraq, I wonder what our military families think about a fourth, fifth and sixth tour?
