ORONO – University of Maine baseball coach Steve Trimper and his staff once again will offer a free hitting and pitching clinic for coaches and parents. The session, sponsored by Rawlings Sporting Goods, is scheduled Feb. 7, 6-8 p.m., in the Mahaney Dome on the UMaine campus.

ORONO – University of Maine baseball coach Steve Trimper and his staff once again will offer a free hitting and pitching clinic for coaches and parents. The session, sponsored by Rawlings Sporting Goods, is scheduled Feb. 7, 6-8 p.m., in the Mahaney Dome on the UMaine campus.

High school coaches, youth baseball coaches and parents are invited to attend the clinic, which will focus on baseball fundamentals and how to teach them. Free raffle prizes will include bats, gloves and UMaine hats and fleece tops.

Those interested in participating are asked to RSVP to UMaine assistant coach Mark Michaud at 581-1098 or mark.j.michaud@umit.maine.edu. Walkups also are welcome.
