BANGOR – Jenny Rollins paced Husson with 10 points as the Eagles cruised to an 80-45 women’s basketball victory over Wheelock College at Newman Gym on Friday night.

Angela Norsworthy tallied eight points and Laura Archer seven, along with five rebounds, as the Eagles spread out their offensive punch.

Sarah Brown led Wheelock with 15 points and Elise Ordile scored 12.

At Johnson, Vt., Caitlyn Laflin scored 36 points on a 15-for-22 effort from the floor and grabbed 12 rebounds as UM-Farmington recorded the North Atlantic Conference victory.

UMF, now 6-7 overall and 3-1 in the NAC, went on a 15-4 scoring run in the second half to take the lead after trailing by eight.

Ashley Busque chipped in with 13 points for UMF, which shot 54 percent from the field.

Jenna Lewis paced 6-7 Johnson State with 14 points and four assists.

Maine Maritime 86, Lesley 81

At Smith Gym in Castine, the Mariners shot 54 percent from the floor to outlast the Lynx in a North Atlantic Conference contest.

Adam Haskell paced Maine Maritime Academy (5-7, 3-0 NAC) with 19 points and seven rebounds, while Neil Stewart and Jake Manner tossed in 17 points each. Michael Wharff added 12.

Joseph Chatman led Lesley University of Cambridge, Mass., with 25 points. Jon Cruz added 12 points and Jesus Trejo posted 11 points and nine rebounds for the Lynx (3-9, 1-1 NAC).

At Hartford, Conn., Russ Martin scored 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead Trinity by Bates of Lewiston.

The game was tied at 49 with 14 minutes left, but Trinity outscored Bates 36-19 the rest of the way.

Brian Ellis paced Bates with 21 points, and Bryan Wholey added 19 points and nine rebounds.

Randy DeFeo tallied 15 points and Kyle Jackson 14 for the Polar Bears, while Andrew Sargeantson and Jordan Fliegel chipped in with 13 each.

Chris Shalvoy hit seven 3-pointers en route to 30 points to pace the Ephs. Kevin Snyder scored 25.

At Waterville, Ashton Coghlan scored 19 points coming off the bench to spark Middlebury (Vt.).

Colby rallied to within 62-59, but Aaron Smith sank two free throws with 46 seconds remaining to help ice it.

Smith finished with 15 points for the Panthers, Mike Walsh added 12 and Tim Edwards contributed 10 rebounds and four blocked shots.

Artie Cutrone’s game-high 23 points paced the Mules. Michael Russell had 14 points and a game-high 12 rebounds, and Adam Choice chipped in with nine points and 11 rebounds.
