BANGOR – Shelby Bradford racked up 23 points, 15 rebounds, three assists and five steals to lead Husson College to a 78-74 women’s basketball victory over Lesley College Saturday.

Noelle Lincoln contributed 11 points for Husson, while Bethany Sevey scored 10. Ashley Bragdon had nine points and eight rebounds.

Lesley’s Courtnie Leakeas put in 21 points.

At Rutland, Vt., Ashley Ames led five University of Maine-Fort Kent scorers with 20 points as the Bengals defeated the College of St. Joseph 79-73 on Saturday.

UMFK beat Vermont Technical College 68-39 on Sunday when Ames scored 18 points.

At Orono, Taryn Peacock scored a goal and assisted another to lead the University of Maine to victory over Northeastern University of Boston Sunday.

Abby Barton, Pam Patterson and Lexie Hoffmeyer scored for the 2-18-2 Black Bears. Vanessa Vani, Robyn Law and Courtney Fox provided assists. Genevieve Turgeon made 25 saves on 26 shots.

Erin Rell scored on a Colleen Sanborn assists in the second period for 5-14-2 Northeastern. Leah Sulyma blocked 39 of 43 shots.
