Former University of Maine defenseman Mike Lundin has been selected to play in the NHL’s YoungStars game on Saturday in Atlanta as part of the NHL’s All-Star weekend. Lundin has played in all 48 games for the Tampa Bay Lightning and has five assists.

The 23-year-old Lundin is averaging 15:07 of ice time per game. Lundin, a second team All-Hockey East defenseman last year, is one of four defensemen representing the Eastern Conference along with four forwards. They will play an abbreviated three-on-three game against the Western Conference rookies in between the NHL Skills Competition Saturday.
