BIDDEFORD – Police in Biddeford say divers will return later this week to the Saco River to search for the missing driver from a crash that killed a mother.
Police believe that 39-year-old Robby Harrison and his girlfriend, 38-year-old Sherry Little, had been in Portland’s Old Port on Saturday night and were apparently on their way to their home to Biddeford. Little’s body was found in the vehicle, but there was no sign of the driver.
Harrison may have been thrown into the river, either on impact with the guardrail or after the Blazer fell into the water.
Police say divers will begin their search, probably today, after the owners of the dam can open it and lower the water level.
