TRENTON – A fire Sunday evening leveled a small office building at a property on Farm Road.

Speaking at the scene, Fire Chief Kelton Muise said the blaze likely started in a wood stove in the building. All that remained of the building, about 10 feet wide and 16 feet long, were charred studs that jutted up into the air.

The fire was reported a few minutes before 7 p.m. and, once firefighters arrived, took 10 minutes to get under control, Muise said. Approximately 15 to 20 firefighters from Trenton and Lamoine responded.

Muise said he did not know whether the resident at the property, Victor Levesque, was insured, or how much the building might be worth.

No one was injured in the fire, he said.
