PRESQUE ISLE – Ashley Ames dropped in 22 points while grabbing 12 rebounds and blocking eight shots as the University of Maine-Fort Kent women’s basketball team defeated the University of Maine-Presque Isle 65-45 Wednesday night.

Arcilla Jeffers had 14 points for the Bengals and Amber Garrison added 12 points.

Erica Davis totaled 19 points and 10 steals for the Owls. Megan Korhonen scored 12 points and Anna Lenentine had 10 rebounds.
