JARRYD ROSSIGNOL
Rossignol, a senior guard on the Caribou basketball team, averaged 22.3 points in three Vikings’ victory. That effort was highlighted by his performance in a win over Fort Kent in which he made six 3-point goals en route to a career-high 32 points to go with four steals and three assists.
Small School (Classes C-D)
LUIS MEDINA
Medina, a junior guard on the Lee Academy basketball team, amassed 95 points, 32 rebounds and 30 assists in four games for the Pandas. That effort featured a 32-point performance against two-time defending Class C state champion Calais in which he made 12 of 16 field-goal attempts.

Big School (Classes A-B)
KARYN KING
King, a senior center on the Caribou High School basketball team King lifted the Vikings to two key wins. On Saturday King had a team-high 14 points as Caribou beat Hermon 57-53, ending the Hawks’ 9-game winning streak. She scored 20 points in Tuesday’s 41-37 win over rival Presque Isle to help the Vikes move to 9-5.
Small School (Classes C-D)
ELIZABETH HANSON
A junior forward for the Highview Christian basketball team, Hanson racked up 17 points, 17 rebounds and six steals to lead the Knights of Charleston to their first win, a 38-36 victory over Averill of Hinckley on Jan. 24. Her free throw with 22 seconds left put Highview up for good. Including that game, Hanson had 36 points, 37 rebounds, eight assists and 24 steals in three games. She had a team-high 11 points in a 61-19 loss to Jonesport-Beals Tuesday.
