MADAWASKA – Kallie Pelletier connected for a game-high 25 points as the host Owls built a lead as big as nine in the first half then held on to upset Greater Houlton Christian 47-46 in a schoolgirl basketball game Wednesday night.

Madawaska led 28-22 at the half before the Eagles went on a 24-19 second half run to get back into it.

Ashley Cyr chipped in with eight points for the winners.

Sarah Riopel led GHCA with 17 points while Kari Brewer added 14.
