WATERVILLE – Colby senior Katie McCabe made her final home women’s basketball game a memorable one as she scored 28 points, grabbed 19 rebounds and notched seven assists to lead the Colby College White Mules to an 87-77 victory over Husson Tuesday night.
Husson cut Colby’s 14 point lead to 77-73 with 3:43 left, but the Mules scored four unanswered points to secure the victory.
Alison Cappelloni chipped in with 25 points and 11 rebounds for the winners.
Jenny Rollins paced Husson with 22 points, including a 6-for-10 effort from 3-point range. Shelby Bradford chipped in with 20 points, 13 rebounds and six assists.
