Adam Haggerty

University of Southern Maine senior Adam Haggerty of Hermon was named the Little East Conference Men’s Field Athlete of the Week. Haggerty cleared 15-4 to win the pole vault.

Doug Mercer

University of Southern Maine junior Doug Mercer was honored as the Men’s Track Athlete of the Week by the Little East Conference. Mercer set a school record in the 600 meter run with a time of 1:23.09.

Sarah Hale

University of Southern Maine sophomore Sarah Hale was named the Little East Conference Women’s Track Athlete of the Week. Hale won the 55-meter dash (7.63 seconds) and was third in the 200 (27.77).

Alisa Licata

University of Maine at Fort Kent freshman point guard Alisa Licata was honored as the Sunrise Conference Rookie of the Week for Women’s Basketball. Licata averaged 10.0 points, 8.5 assists and 4.5 rebounds in a 3-0 week.
