University of Maine senior captain Jenna Cowan was named a finalist for the NCAA Frozen Four Skills Competition, to be held April 11 at the Men’s Frozen Four in Denver.

Cowan is among 66 men’s and women’s finalists who are hoping to be voted by fans onto the 16-person team. Fans will be able to vote in six position players and two goals for each gender of the East and West squads.

Cowan is up for nomination on the East side along with Deborah Spillane of Boston College, UConn’s Jaclyn Hawkins, Martine Garland, Jennifer Hitchcock and Sadie Wright-Ward of New Hampshire and Providence’s Sarah Feldman.
