Hodges, Byron lift Husson JV men by Unity

BANGOR – C.J. Hodges connected for 20 points and Chris Byron 19 as the Husson JVs thumped Unity College 100-65 in men’s basketball action Thursday night at Newman Gym.

Cameron Puls chipped in 16 points and Joe Kane 13 for the winners.

Brandon Coores paced Unity with 36 points while Nate Kelly scored 14.

At Wenham, Mass., Wednesday night, Brock Bradford tallied 24 points, seven rebounds and five assists to lead Husson College by Gordon.

Matt MacKenzie netted 17 points while Blaine Meehan had 12. Sheraud Lee chipped in with 11 points for the Eagles.

Aaron Trigg led Gordon College with 19 points.
