FORT KENT – Jimmy Lopez registered a game-high 29 points, including eight 3-pointers, to propel the University of Maine-Fort Kent to an 82-64 men’s basketball victory over UMaine-Machias Wednesday night.

Othniel Hyliger scored 13 points and Gediminas Sumyla had 11 while Yair Gal chipped in with 10 for the Bengals.

Charles Calligan led UM-Machias with 16 points. Anthony McCoy netted 13 points while Noah Buehner added 12 for the Clippers.

Shir Fuchs and Leah Ribera registered 12 points apiece for the Bengals.

Katy Constant led the Clippers with 16 points.
