JONESPORT – Seventh-seeded Jonesport-Beals’ full-court pressure wore down 10th ranked Machias in the fourth quarter as the Royalettes outscored the Bulldogs 21-2 to run away with a 62-43 Eastern Maine Class D schoolgirl preliminary victory over the Bulldogs Tuesday night.

BreAnna Beal poured in 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for Jonesport-Beals.

Tiara Lipton netted 13 points and Danielle Wormell 11 for Machias.
