BANGOR – Junior center Andrew Casey had two goals and assisted on two others as the John Bapst High School Crusaders beat Orono 5-1 in an Eastern Maine Class B hockey game at Sawyer Arena Thursday night.
Casey’s linemate, junior left wing Casey Hull, had a goal and two assists with Chase Huckestein amd Connor Scofield scoring the other goals. Neil LaFrance and Nick Mitchell had assists and Derek Duff made 14 saves for the 13-4-1 Crusaders.
Nathan Curtis scored for 6-12-1 Orono and David Eugley made 23 stops.
Bangor 4, Cony 0
At the Kennebec Ice Arena in Augusta, senior center Christian Dionne scored a pair of goals and senior Andrew Riley made 24 saves as Bangor improved to 8-9.
Ted Murray and Phil Frost scored the other Bangor goals with Riley, Joey Seccareccia, Nate Lewis and Adam King collecting assists.
Jon Dale made 30 saves for Cony of Augusta.
