Manufacturing sector focus of policy lunch

BANGOR – The Maine Heritage Policy Center will hold a policy luncheon in Bangor this week.

On Wednesday, Feb. 20, the Maine Prosperity Luncheon, a monthly public policy forum, will be held noon-1:30 p.m. at the Sea Dog Brewing Co. at 26 Front St.

The featured speaker, Lisa G. Martin, executive director of the Manufacturers Association of Maine, will discuss “The Economic Status of Manufacturing in Maine and its Future Prospects.”

The cost is $14 per person, including tax and gratuity, and is payable at the door.
