Few details are being released about a Sunday night stabbing in Brewer that resulted in a person being taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center with minor injuries, Cpl. Anthony Pinette of the Brewer Police Department said Monday.
The victim, a 45-year-old female Brewer resident, was stabbed by a 45-year-old Bangor woman, he said.”It started as a verbal argument and escalated,” said Pinette, who did not reveal where the stabbing occurred.
The fight was reported to police at 7 p.m. The weapon, a knife, was recovered by police.
The case is still under investigation, and possible charges are pending a review by the District Attorney’s Office. (Nok-Noi Ricker, BDN)
An all-points-bulletin was issued for Michael Michaud, 18, of Levant on Sunday evening after he called his ex-girlfriend and threatened to kill her.
Later that night, Penobscot County Sheriff’s Deputy Noel Santiago found Michaud at a house in Glenburn and arrested him for terrorizing. He was taken to Penobscot County Jail and remained there Monday evening. (Nok-Noi Ricker, BDN)
