NORWAY – A teenager from Lewiston is accused of driving 90 mph in a 25 mph zone – in a stolen car, and without a driver’s license.

Police arrested Adan Mohamed, 19, and three other teenagers early Monday after a street race in Norway. The 1995 Ford Crown Victoria he was driving allegedly was stolen from a home that was burglarized in Paris.

Police say Mohamed was charged with burglary, theft, unauthorized use of property, criminal speed, violation of bail conditions, operating without a license and driving to endanger. Three others, ages 15 to 18, were arrested.

Paris Police Chief David Verrier put the car’s value at $1,000 and the value of the stolen items at $2,500.
