BANGOR – The Bangor Indoor Tennis Club announced that the International Professional Tennis Registry has selected Kelly Anchors, director of youth programs, as Maine Professional Tennis Registry Pro for 2008. She was recognized for promoting the playing of tennis among adults and youth throughout Maine.

BANGOR – The Bangor Indoor Tennis Club announced that the International Professional Tennis Registry has selected Kelly Anchors, director of youth programs, as Maine Professional Tennis Registry Pro for 2008. She was recognized for promoting the playing of tennis among adults and youth throughout Maine.
In addition to teaching tennis at Bangor Indoor Tennis, Anchors is a clinician and tester for the registry. She conducts workshops around the United States, certifying tennis instructors. In 2004, she was recognized as the registry’s New England Tennis Pro of the Year.
Tennis coach Dennis Van der Meer established the registry to educate, certify and serve tennis teachers and coaches around the world.
