Camden National Corp. President and CEO Robert W. Daigle announced new leadership roles and responsibilities for three officers – Joanne Campbell, Anne Edwards and Peter Greene – after the recent acquisition of Union Bankshares.
Campbell has been named senior vice president of risk management for Camden National. With 20 years of mortgage banking experience, primarily in the area of residential real estate lending, she joined Camden National Bank in 1996 as vice president and manager of residential real estate. In 2002 she was promoted to senior vice president of compliance, audit and Community Reinvestment Act. In 2005, she assumed a leadership role in the area of risk management.
Edwards has been promoted to senior vice president of human resources and stakeholder development. Before joining Camden National in 2005 as vice president of human resources, she served as an assistant attorney general with the Attorney General’s Office in Boston and also held positions with the Executive Office of Public Safety and the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts. In her new job, her responsibilities include oversight of the company’s Stakeholder Development Center, which provides education and development opportunities.
Greene has been named senior vice president, operations officer, for Camden National. He joined Union Trust Co. in 1982 as a branch manager trainee and worked up through the operations and information technology departments of the organization, culminating in a position as senior vice president, chief administrative officer. After the acquisition of Union Trust, Greene joined the executive team of Camden National. In his role as operations officer, he has oversight for completion of the integration and responsibility for all operational functions.
