Longtime rivals Lewiston and Waterville will square off for the Eastern Maine Class A hockey championship at Portland’s Cumberland County Civic Center tonight at 6.

Lewiston, 18-3-1 and the top seed, beat Waterville 2-0 and 4-3 in their regular season meetings.

Third seed Waterville is 14-7-1.

The Western A final will follow between top seed Biddeford (22-0) and No. 2 Kennebunk (19-3). It is tentatively set for 8:15.

Lewiston’s balanced, high-powered attack features five players with 30 or more points in Jordan Bourgoin (15 goals, 30 assists), Jon Roy (23 & 22), Casey Poussard (27 & 17), Robbie Leeman (21 & 18) and Matt Letourneau (10 & 20). Jake Brown (1 & 12) anchors the defense corps in front of goalie Cam Poussard (11-3-1, 1.40 goals-against average, .937 save percentage).

Lewiston is coached by former Waterville coach Norm Gagne.

Dennis Martin’s Purple Panthers feature the line of John Massey (10 & 20), Zach Jochem (11 & 18) and Ian Rowe (13 & 8) along with defenseman Shawn Lee (8 & 11) and goalie Nolan MacDonnell (14-7-1, 1.86, .906).
