LEWISTON – A new date has been set for a hockey fundraiser that pits former Boston Bruins against a team from the Lewiston Police Department.
Ex-Bruins expected to be on the ice include Gary Doak, Steve Rooney, Frank Simonetti, John Carter, Brad Park and Ken Linseman.
The game, to be played at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee in Lewiston, had been scheduled for Feb. 22 but was cancelled because of a storm. The new date is March 29.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Lewiston Police Athletic League.
