About 40 residents showed up to the annual town meeting Monday night, approving a $1.4 million municipal budget, of which $700,000 would be raised by taxes.

All warrant articles passed with little conversation, according to Coreen Sylvester, an office clerk.

During elections Saturday, two selectmen and one SAD 23 board member were picked. John Luce received 29 votes and Suzan Rudnicki received 30 votes for the selectmen positions, while Lawrence Webber got 32 votes for the SAD 23 post.

At the town meeting Monday residents voted for Barbara Baeslack, Nancy Dysart and Phyllis Johnston to continue their tenure on the town’s budget committee.
