These events are scheduled for the Maine Discovery Museum in the coming weeks:
. Singalong with one-man-band Lovey Williams, 2 p.m. Saturday, March 15. Admission is $6.50 per person, and members and children 12 months old will be admitted for free.
. Parents’ Night Out, 5:30-9 p.m. Friday, March 21. Drop off children ages 4 and up for a pizza dinner, a science and craft activity and supervised playtime in the museum. The cost is $18 for a member child, $20 for a nonmember child, and siblings half price. Space is limited. Call to preregister. Parents’ Night Out is sponsored by New Moon Restaurant and Cristor’s Irish Public House.
. Coffee with Sandy Caron, Ph.D., an event for parents, 11 am. Saturday, March 29. The topic is, “Where do babies come from?” Admission is $6.50 per person, with members and children 12 months and younger admitted free. Preregister by calling 262-7200.
. Teddy Bear Clinic, 2 p.m. Sunday, March 30, led by Dr. Colette Sabbagh, Norumbega Pediatrics. Bring your stuffed buddy and find out what doctors and nurses do during a checkup. Volunteers will be on hand for some minor “suturing” and repairs.
