PORTLAND – A Biddeford man has been sentenced to more than 10 years in prison for his role in the armed robbery of a fast-food restaurant and for marijuana distribution.

Christopher Suthard, 20, was sentenced Friday in U.S. District Court in Portland. He was ordered to spend 121 months in prison and pay restitution of $1,306.

Suthard and Corey Wright, 20, of East Rochester, N.H., were charged in last May’s gunpoint robbery at a Burger King in Saco where Suthard once had worked.

Suthard pleaded guilty last November.

Wright also has pleaded guilty and awaits sentencing.
