HERMON – The Blue team outscored the White team 25-18 in the second half to pull out a 46-45 victory in the PVC Senior All-Stars girls basketball game at Hermon High School Tuesday evening. The White team prevailed 79-71 in the boys contest.

HERMON – The Blue team outscored the White team 25-18 in the second half to pull out a 46-45 victory in the PVC Senior All-Stars girls basketball game at Hermon High School Tuesday evening.

The White team prevailed 79-71 in the boys contest.

In the girls game, Mattanawcook of Lincoln’s Brianna Hanscom scored 10 of her game-high 12 points in the second half to fuel the rally.

Caribou’s Karyn King contributed eight points for the winners while Jenna King of Old Town led the White team with eight.

In the boys game, MA’s Derek Libbey led four White team players in double figures with 14 points.

Old Town’s Ethan Shanley scored 13 points, Nick Gallant of Presque Isle 12 and Hermon’s Derek Helms 11.

For the Blue team, Central of Corinth’s Tyler Pineo connected for a game-high 16 points.
