TAMPA, Fla. – Jeff Miller collected three hits to drive in two runs as Husson College claimed its second victory of the season with an 8-6 win over Drew University in college baseball action Monday.
Ripon College defeated the Eagles 5-2 on Sunday, and Rhode Island Polytechnic Institute earned a 10-1 decision Monday.
In Monday’s first game, Jeff Miller posted three hits and two RBIs to lead the Eagles. Andrew Patterson had two hits and two RBIs while Chris Maguire drove in a pair of runs.
In Monday’s second game, Jim Devine tallied four hits and four RBIs to lead Rhode Island Polytechnic Institute.
Maguire and Dennis Graham had two hits apiece for Husson while Patterson drove in the lone run.
In Sunday’s game, Will Gillis had three hits and two RBIs to lead Ripon.
Graham posted two hits for Husson while Miller and Bill Shannon each drove in a run.

Husson drops a pair
At Kissimmee, Fla., the Eagles dropped two Rebel Spring Games contests Monday, falling to Baldwin-Wallace 9-1 and Rhode Island College 7-0.
In the first game, Caitlin Myor led Baldwin-Wallace with two hits, including a home run.
Cassie Berry posted three hits to lead Husson while Dorothy Cameron had a double.
In the second game, Danielle Matoon had a pair of hits to lead Rhode Island College.
Dorothy Cameron tallied the only hit for the Eagles.
