ORONO – School committee candidate Leo Kenney received 463 votes in Tuesday’s municipal election and was selected to fill the expired three-year term of Mary Frances Neubauer, according to Orono clerk Wanda Thomas. Neubauer received 226 votes.

In the Town Council race for two three-year terms, Geoffrey Gordon held onto his seat with 357 votes while Cynthia Mehnert received 403 votes and was elected to fill the seat left vacant by John Bradson whose name wasn’t on the ballot. The third candidate in the council race, Travis Hall, received 317 votes.
