Operation Community Support is thanking the men and women serving their country in the war against terrorism with free admission to the Maine Senior All-Star basketball games Saturday in Bangor and to the Eastern Maine Sportsmen’s Show in Orono over the weekend.

McDonald’s is donating tickets to the all-star games while the Penobscot County Conservation Association is doing likewise for the sportsmen’s show.

The all-star games are at Newman Gym at Husson College. Game times are: Class C-D girls, 9:15 a.m.; A-B girls, 11 a.m.; A-B boys, 12:45 p.m.; and C-D boys, 2:30 p.m.

The sportsmen’s show at the University of Maine runs from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
