. 2 p.m., silent vigil in front of recreation center, Bennett Drive, Caribou.

. 2:30 p.m., refreshments, conversation, e-mailing and letter writing at the Caribou Universalist Church, 3 Grove St.

. 1 p.m., Paul Bunyan Park, 519 Main St., Bangor, Chain of Concern vigil from Paul Bunyan Park to Bangor Homeless Shelter and live performance by Maine singer-songwriter Dave Mallet. Carpools to the event are being organized from Rockland, Lincoln, Belfast, Winterport, Pittsfield, Dover-Foxcroft, Hampden, Orono and Old Town.

Somerset County

. Noon-4 p.m., Empire Grill, 40 Water St., Skowhegan. There will be a live feed from the “Winter Soldier” gathering in the Washington, D.C., area.
