PITTSFIELD – The Town Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 18.
The agenda includes:
. Waiver of the bid policy to enter into a one-year contract with Palmyra for curbside pickup of recyclable items.
. Approval of a lunch wagon license for Nanny’s Kitchen of 203 Harriet St., Pittsfield.
. Authorization for the town manager to seek bids for park maintenance, groundskeeping and mowing for a three-year period.
. Designation of April 22 as Earth Day in Pittsfield.
. Designation of May 25 as Arbor Day in Pittsfield.
. A presentation on the Pittsfield Area Business Forum set for March 25.
. Setting two public hearings for April 1. One accepts taxes on a town-foreclosed property on Cottage Street, and the other accepts $150,000 in state Community Development Block Grant funds for historic preservation at the Pittsfield Public Library.
Council meetings are held in the council chambers of the municipal building on Somerset Avenue.
