FORT KENT – The University of Maine at Fort Kent Acadian Archives (Archives Acadiennes) will host a monthlong exhibit by the collaboration of local historical and cultural organizations in the St. John River Valley.

The exhibit will open with UMFK’s annual Sucrerie 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, March 27, at Nowland Hall. Included in the exhibit will be a veterans’ display from the Ste-Agathe Historical Society; artifacts from l’Association culturelle et historique du Mont Carmel located in Lille, Maine; photographs from the Madawaska Historical Society; and a collection from the Wesget Sipu Native American organization.
